Coeur d'Alene Tribe Wins $400 Million Contract

The Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Idaho began production this summer on 210,000gall fabric fuel tank bladders that stand 6ft high and are 72ft². Tribally-owned Berg Integrated Systems won a five-year US army contract worth $400 million, with first year revenue projections in excess of $40 million.

Awarded the contract in October 2007, the tribe passed quality control testing in May 2008 and began production. BIS tanks division is producing one bladder every working day under the contract.

Axletech International and Thales Announce Longterm Supply Agreement for Independent Suspension Axle Systems

AxleTech International, a specialist in high-speed planetary axles for the defense, off-highway and specialty truck markets, has entered into a long-term supply agreement (LTSA) to furnish high-speed planetary independent suspension axle systems (ISAS) to Thales for the highly acclaimed Australian-made Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle (PMV).

ESG Realises Portable Command Post for the German Armed Forces
